Gary Lalli served as the assistant pole vault and multi-event coach at Marquette University from 2016 to 2021. During his tenure, he coached multiple Big East champions in both men's and women's pole vault. A former athlete himself, Gary competed in pole vault at Harding Charter Prep in Oklahoma City and continued vaulting as an amateur through college, achieving a personal best of 17'4".

Tim McMichael

Coach
"I started pole vaulting when I was five years old by picking up a stick and jumping over things. Over the next few decades, I traveled the world, won some major meets, and competed in even bigger ones. No matter where I was or what was at stake, I never stopped being that little kid running at a fence with a stick.

As a coach, I’ve had the privilege of working with many amazing athletes and outstanding individuals. I’ve devoted the last thirty years to giving back to the sport that has given me so much, and I plan to continue doing so for as long as I can."
